FLC provides caring skills training to lay workers to enhance the capability of the community to care for people in need.

Caring Skills Training Course

Aims:

  • To train lay workers or volunteers with basic helping skills to care for those people who need psychological, social, emotional and spiritual support within their communities

This is an intensive two-day training program focusing on skills training and practical application with emphasis on a holistic approach in caring for people.

Caring Skills Training Course for Youth Leaders


Aims:

  • To equip youth leaders or volunteers to participate in and support the ministry of caring
  • To train lay youth leaders or volunteers with basic helping skills to care for those people who need psychological, social, emotional and spiritual support within their communities
  • To encourage and strengthen the youth leaders to serve their communities

This is an intensive two day training program with focus on skills training and practical application. It also has a strong emphasis on dealing with common adolescent issues.
