Newsletter Survey
FLC has, over the years, been distributing its Newsletters regularly each quarter to its Supporters like you. Our mailing list keeps growing every month. Each quarter FLC makes significant efforts in printing, sorting and posting Newsletters, yet we are not sure if this is your most preferable way of receiving our Newsletters.
To help us serve you better, we would appreciate that you could take a few minutes to complete the following survey (this survey form is also available in Word file on our website) and return your preference to FLC in one of the following ways:
1. By post: PO Box 9126, Harris Park NSW 2150
2. By fax: (02) 9637 4535
3. By email: admin@firstlightcare.org.au
We look forward to receiving your earliest response. Thank you for your time and continued support of FLC’s ministry.

Be a Good and Faithful Servant!
作個又良善又忠心的僕人!
“My greatest joy in this life is to do the Lord's works. Unlike others, working 365 days is not enough for me, I have to work another 300 nights. Others call me a "workaholic". It's alright! My Lord does not criticise me and even prepares the environment for me to work. Since no one can block my work, let me go mad and work!”
Rev Chin WU ( 胡欽牧師)

Dear Brothers, Sisters and Friends,
I first met Rev Chin Wu about 40 years ago, when he was a pastor at North Point Alliance Church in Hong Kong. Rev Wu went to Hong Kong as a refugee to escape from the war in China in 1950. My wife and I were truly privileged to be given an opportunity to spend a week with Rev Wu, now 80, in his usual week-long monthly visit to his native province, Anhui, in China earlier this year. That week gave us a glimpse of what God has done in China through him. With the support of many Christians and churches in Hong Kong, he has helped build 2 theological colleges, 10 Bible training centres, 12 health clinics and hospitals, 62 schools and 130 church/meeting places in China in the past 30 years. He has helped turn the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around, physically and spiritually. He has supported and nurtured a large number of faithful and talented young pastors and church leaders for the next generation.
We were amazed by his endless energy! At the age of 80 years, Rev Wu can still work 7am-11pm, for seven consecutive days, during our short encounter with him. Supported by his wife of 50 years and his four daughters, he never complains about having too much work to do or too many people to see. He never counts how much he has done. He sees his work as something given to him by God for his joy and satisfaction. To him, there is no “overtime” because his time is His time. He has devoted his life to God. His life is His.
Rev Wu is what he is because he has experienced the love and grace of Jesus Christ our Lord. He is following in His steps and therefore gives his life, totally and selflessly, to bring the good news to people in Hong Kong and China. Everything he does is for the Lord, and with the Lord. You can feel His presence in him.
The end of the year is a busy time for us at FLC, and in our work we often meet people who find themselves tired and weary, not just from the busy-ness of this year, but because they are confronting difficult circumstances.Rev Wu's energy is a testament that “those who hope in the LORD…soar on wings like eagles…run and not grow weary…walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31). At FLC we rely on the LORD to sustain us as we seek to bring hope into the lives of those we serve.
To learn more about Rev Wu and his amazing life, you can read his newly-released biography “Son of Anhui-Life of Wu Chin” (安徽小子-胡欽生命之旅) , published by China Alliance Press. Like me, your mind and heart will be enriched and challenged by the life of this “good and faithful servant”!
May your life be blessed this Christmas!
Emmanuel!
